With over 20 years in the beauty industry,
Jessica Kunau is the founder and creative force behind Jessica Style Hair & Makeup Design.
Jessica’s philosophy centers on revealing rather than concealing, Elevating & Enhancing Natural Beauty through refined glam and effortless glow. Whether creating humidity-resistant looks for island celebrations or timeless styles for mountain estates, her approach balances artistry, longevity, and intention.
She leads a carefully curated team of 23+ professional stylists who share her obsession with soft glam, clean lines, and elevated execution. Beyond artistry, Jessica is deeply committed to purpose-driven work through the Empowerment Through Beauty Program, where beauty becomes a tool for education, restoration, and hope.

Empowerment Through Beauty Program
Empowerment Through Beauty is a mission-driven program created to support young women on their journey toward healing and self-sufficiency. In partnership with Pearl Haven / Ho‘olanapua, the program provides hands-on training in hair and makeup artistry to survivors of trafficking.
The program is led in person by Faith, our Lead Educator, who guides participants through practical skill-building, creative expression, and confidence development. Through education and mentorship, the program helps participants explore career opportunities while rediscovering their sense of identity and self-worth.
Our professional team teaches monthly classes to 17-21 students, brings beauty tools, inspirational lessons and hands-on training giving them a nurturing , safe and creative outlet while building real life skills towards an independent future in the beauty industry.
This initiative reflects our belief that beauty, when shared with intention, can be life-changing.
